README.MD Gizmondo Homebrew Pack Thanks to Critical Hippo, Reesy, sweetlilmre, and Notaz for their support and help in gathering Gizmondo binaries. Special thanks goes to sweetlilmre who helped me fix issues with running Grodo on my Gizmondo. *** READ HERE *** Please use Firefly's Launcher. Firefly's Launcher allows you to play all the emulators without having to run WindowsCE mode. Simply place the autorun from the Firefly folder onto the root of your SD card. A few emulators such as SquidgEngine will not work with Firefly's launcher.
A way around this is to rename them to SquidgEngine.exe and place them on the root of the SD card alongside a generic autorun file. In this case, make sure to rename Firefly's Launcher to something other than autorun. Updating Your Gizmondo to Service Pack B: • Place autorun.exe and install.bin onto the root of your SD card • Run autorun.exe from the Games Directory Entering Windows CE on your Gizmondo • Place files from LockNLoad folder onto the root of your SD card (leave WinCE as a folder) • run autorun.exe in Games Directory If you have any questions, please contact me.

It's only rumours for now of course... Cool Reader Sis. 15:30, 28 September 2005 (UTC) I think it's - it could just be another sad case of a young, hopeful company running aground, but there's always Occam's razor.;-) -- 15:39, 28 September 2005 (UTC) I believe the Gizmondo is nearly a flop since it is not yet released in local department stores, not to mention its loss of fanbase due to already-played games being ported to it. -- 15:32, 23 November 2005 (UTC) By the way, who put that this is a 128-bit system? It's main processor is an ARM9, the same, 32-bit processor used by the Nintendo DS and Gamepark 32. To my knowledge, there aren't any 128-bit architectures available. I move to edit this.
I'm sure it has a 128bit graphics card from Nvidia, so that probably qualifies that remark? 20:46, 26 January 2006 (UTC) No, the CPU is regarded as the core of the system so that's what dictates if it's 128bit or not. And as the person above says, there is no 128bit architecture. 21:42, 13 August 2006 (UTC) -->Rewrite [ ] I figured I'd be bold and rewrite and clean up the article. The biggest diffrence is I updated the article to reflect the situation with the Gizmondo: that the system is no longer a current retail product and that it is now a historical or collector's item. I realize that die hard Gizmondo fans will disagree with me, but let's please discuss it.
18:30, 28 March 2006 (UTC) Stefan [ ] Please don't add more info about Stefan to this article unless its directly related to Gizmondo. He has his own article that should be expanded instead.-- 15:59, 10 April 2006 (UTC) Links [ ] Since some of the websites don't work and are actually stated as not working, why are they there? 21:32, 21 April 2006 (UTC) The Gizmondo and Tiger Telematics websites have been crossed off, but not deleted from the links section. On a list of links, you'd expect to see the company's website, but both of them are no longer working. If we deleted them, Wikipedians who view this site might waste their time trying to look them up and add them to the list. 15:35, 22 April 2006 (UTC) Oh, alright. 18:45, 24 April 2006 (UTC) Key Mapping [ ] I’ll admit, I don’t know what key mapping is.
So to those of you knowledgeable about such things: does this information belong in the article? If it doesn’t, it should be deleted or moved. If it does, some sort of explanation or definition of key mapping should be included in that section. 15:41, 22 April 2006 (UTC) You should know something about it before you make a motion to have it edited, moved or deleted. 13:49, 5 May 2006 (UTC) I think the Key mapping segment is completely meaningless in the context of a wikipedia article. It is not notable information of any sort, especially considering that the hardware in question is entirely dead. In any case, the segment needs more details and explanation as to why it is notable.
Get detailed information regarding the time on different timezones with the help of this streamlined app that is designed to replace the windows system clock
If you often travel for business, then time zone differences might be a problem. Anuko World Clock is a nice tool that can replace the regular system clock with several time zones of your choice.
The app has a simple interface that is quite easy to work with, thanks to its simple layout.
Thus, you can adorn the desktop with multiple clocks representing various cities around the globe. Also, it modifies the system tray clock and adds another of a town of your choice.
The tool lets you pick any location with the help of a world map. It includes thousands of cities represented by little dots. The program lets you assign a double-click action for the clocks. Thus, it may show the clock settings, the calendar, go to a URL, a time converter tool or the time table.
A widget may be selected for each time zone. There are several skins available for each clock, both in digital and analog formats.
In the system tray, you may also import data regarding international stock exchanges. These details are downloaded from the Internet and, thus, require such a connection to work.
Some calendar options can be modified as well, such as the first day of the week and year. The program also includes a RSS reader that can gather news pieces from various websites.
Additional tools are available, such as a stopwatch and a timer. Alarms can be set up as well, both for individual and recurring events.
The bottom line is that Anuko World Clock is a nice program that can be quite useful. Inexperienced users should have no problems with installing and customizing this tool, thanks to the intuitive interface.
